Shelfwatcher is a free adventure title for PC by developer MTP Games. It's a first-person horror game with a holiday theme and features PS1-style graphics. It's almost Christmas and players will put an elf doll near their tree and fireplace to add to the festive feel.

Santa's helper

In Shelfwatcher, Christmas is almost here and to add to the festive mood, you decide to put a Santa elf doll by the fireplace and tree. You go about your night and just when you're about to sleep, the figurine is mysteriously on your bed. You place it back where it was and turn it in for the night.

You are awake in the middle of the night to a sudden noise from the living room. You get up to check what it is and see the elf doll seated on the couch, the TV on, and things start to feel off. Now, before diving in to find out more, just know that this is a short game, with a playthrough lasting just a couple of minutes.
